school's (almost) out for summer

Yes, it's that time again. College kids are cramming for their finals and getting ready for their first summer parties. In just a few days those bells will ring and students will run wildly down the steps of their higher education institution and into the world of sunshine and job hunting.

Meanwhile, I am still grading projects. Please excuse my absence from the Board as I finish the rest of my teacherly duties.

Well, today I'm over a hill. I'm not sure it's the hill, but it's certainly one in the range. Anyway, my feet are tired.

We had the most splendid shindig in celebration of my getting old. There were party hats and kazoos, cocktails and coconut cake. It was truly a Grand Hullabaloo... weird as it was wonderful and wild as a man in a banana suit.
