left to the 'Imaginarium'

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was rather disappointing. Were it not for the lovely Miss Lily Cole...

and a final glimpse of Heath Ledger's acting talent...

this film would have nothing at all to offer. I guess they can't all be like Brazil.

  1. ooo :( I am so sad to hear it was disappointing. Lily Cole in that first photo is breathtaking though :)

  2. Sorry to hear it isn't good! I really wanted to see it. Those photos look beautiful, though.

  3. If you like Terry Gilliam you should see the film. On video. There's some beautiful imagery and what is lacking in plot is made up for with style. Somewhat.

  7. I was hoping that this film would be better, but I've heard similar reactions from other people. I thought The Adventures of Baron Munchausen was really a groundbreaking film, and I was hoping Gilliam would achieve the same thing with this, but it's clear that he didn't. It's sad when directors are past their prime. Thanks for sharing this post.
