This past Friday I witnessed a husband serenading his wife in front of hundreds of people. He played his guitar and sang in an honest voice of his love for her. All this as their friends, family, kids and grandkids watched. Oooh, I was so romantic. It made my heart ache with happiness for them.
I'm trying to remember the last time I was serenaded... seems like it's been a while. What about you? When was the last time some one said 'I love you' through music? I'd swoon to hear your sweet stories of song.

ReplyDeletei was having a bad day and told my man to serenade me to cheer me up...unfortunately the first sing that came into his head was, "Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now its seems as though there here to stay"

Later on in the day he burst into the room singin "i got you babe", i told him that definitely helped...
