I watched The Runaways last night. Now I have rock 'n' roll fever. An indulgent part of my afternoon was spent looking through old footage of those infamous girlies and I came across this perfect interview with Cherie Currie.
Have you seen Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains? It's one of Diane Lane's first movies, she's gets all punkrock in it. It's not the best movie ever, but totally gets you pumped for being badass :)
Emily and I saw it in the theater. I think my favorite sound in the whole movie, even more than the music, is the sound of '70s leather clothing.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen the movie yet, but my dad sure loves to blast the Runaways all the time. He saw them at a L.A. nightclub in the 70s, ha.
